I used to take French lessons for several years as a teenager but then I quit them, which I really regret now. Recently, I decided to “get back on track” since I had forgotten the language almost completely. This book was the BEST so far, and the most helpful to me. And it truly is “hacking” the process (speeds it up-makes it much easier-makes the language more comprehensible for beginners) of understanding French. To top everything, you ENJOY it! It’s fun and creative. I wish I could have this book when I was a teenager so that I wouldn’t struggle as much.

Nice structure and I really like that there are little exercizes. As someone who studied some French in school but has since forgotten a lot, the level of stories was quite good, not too easy or challenging. Also, there is a wide variety of vocabulary and and themes.
Would recommend to people wanting a simple and engaging way to better their Frenchs skills.
