His work includes productions of over 50 operas for companies in Europe and America; seven original scripts and librettos; 25 English performing translations; supertitles for 14 operas; unpublished fiction and poetry; and annotations, articles, and essays for such publications as Lyric Opera of Chicago's Season Companion and The Opera Journal.
