Robért is a me...voir plusA New Orleans native, Brenda Baker Robért, now splits her time between that city and her home by Bayou Lacombe. She holds an undergraduate degree in English and a M.Ed. in Education. Robért is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. When she isn't writing stories, she enjoys the quiet time spent behind her camera, waiting for a bird to land on just the right branch, as well as the not so quiet time spent with her young granddaughter. Illustrator Kay Meadows is an award-winning artist and illustrator. Her preferred medium is watercolor, but she has worked in pencil, charcoal, pastel, and acrylic. A graphic designer, she has traveled around the world as a Book of Hope Foundation missionary and has worked in the publishing industry, designing and illustrating content for books, including Louisiana Animals ABC and Chili Time, Y'all!: How Texas Found Its State Cuisine, also published by Pelican. She lives in Brandon, Mississippi, where she is inspired by nature and her dogs, cat, and four colorful, noisy chickens.voir moins
