He toured with the "Doc Tommy Scott Medicine Show" out of Toccoa GA for 2 years.He joined the Atlanta Institute of Music. After graduating from Guitar School in 1988, he was invited to a songwriter seminar to meet his first publisher Erick Sutoris.
