Before writing non-fiction, she obtained her Master's degree in Theatre Directing from Royal Holloway University in Surrey, England. Amanda is also an award-winning poet. A Hamilton native, she is a lover of brunch, sleeping in, hiking the many falls within her city, and baking or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
