As her children were growing up, her mother and aunt were growing old. While still working full time she devoted herself to taking care of them during the last years of their lives. Her two decade odyssey into elder care made her an advocate and chronicler of long term care in America.
Sally has always described herself as grateful and blessed. In her most recent book "Grateful and Blessed: Thanks to Family, Friends, and Strangers" she tells us 365 reasons why she feels that way.
