Her dream was to one day write one of her own. “Molly Goes Bananas” is her first published children’s book, although she has written many short stories of her own. “My mother made my childhood years very special,” Chanell says. Because of this, she would like to inspire children through her writing to reach for the stars and to feel free to be who they truly are. Chanell believes that there is nothing more magical than viewing the world through the eyes of a child.
