She is the mother of two daughters, Tracey Parker and Tara Parker-Blue, and a son, Lantz Parker (deceased) and a second mother to her daughter’s husband, Kenneth I, whom she considers her son. She is the grandmother to grandson Kenneth “KJ” Blue II and granddaughter Kara K. Blue. All are the loves of her life. Mrs. Hart-Parker’s husband of fifty years went to be with the Lord last March. The loss is deeply felt, but his presence is felt throughout her works, especially through her ministry. She is an ordained minister at Carter Metropolitan Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (CME). Her life’s work has been working with children as a head start teacher and in administration, assisting with community services. She asks, “Where are you going with your life, and are you allowing God to lead you there?” Young people, finish school and go to college. It’s not cute getting in with the wrong crowd or taking part in something that can change your life for the worse. Be an upstanding citizen and make someone proud to know you. More importantly, be proud to know yourself. Much love, Carol.voir moins
