Mr. Olufemi Sotubo was born on May 27, 1948, in Lagos, Nigeria.

He had his early and middle education in Lagos, Ilesha, Sagamu, and Ibadan—all in Southwest Nigeria—in that order. He attended the University of Ibadan from 1968 to 1971 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in agricultural biology.
He worked briefly as a school teacher and in a research library before joining the then Nigerian Agricultural Bank, now Bank of Agriculture, in September 1974. He rose to the position of a general manager and the pioneer chief inspector of the bank in October 1987. He voluntarily retired from the bank effective January 2000 after over twenty-five years of meritorious service. He is currently a management consultant for small and medium enterprises; a member of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, he attends the Redeemed Christian Church of God and is married with adult children.voir moins
