Duffie J. Allen-Taylor was born into a Christian home and community, where Bible study and Sunday school were taught in the home and church. This commitment launched a lifetime of Christian ethics and biblical studies, including classes at Chicago Baptist Institute, World Bible Studies, Bible Study Fellowship International, and church Bible classes. The author graduated high school at McMittress High School in Emerson, Arkansas; attended Baker College in Michigan (formerly Muskegon School of Business) and received a diploma in clerical studies. Later in life, the author received a bachelor’s degree at Chicago State University. She also received a diploma on the basics of writing from the Long Ridge Writers Group, which spurred her interest in writing, along with career responsibilities. She taught Sunday School for many years at former churches.
The author is the mother of four and grandmother of ten. She is an active member at Carver Heights Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Other books authored by her are: Life in Fertile Soil and Surviving College after 60.voir moins
