Four years of military service as an enlisted officer in the U.S. Air Force. The majority of the time in the Air Force working and living in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Master’s degree in Communications earned from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado. Bachelor’s and Associate degrees earned from C.W. Post College, Greenvale, New York and Bishop State Junior College, Mobile, Alabama, respectively. Thirty-nine-years’ experience working as a federal law enforcement officer and instructor with the U.S. Customs Service, Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, contract work with the Abu Dhabi Customs Training Academy and Adjunct Professor with Northwest Florida State College.

In addition, various temporary assignments in Thailand, Germany, London, Panama, Canada and Mexico.
