She holds degrees in English, Philosophy, Mathematics, Education and Cognitive Psychology. She has read widely, from ancient history to modern murder mysteries. Her writings also cover a wide range, from the textbook Statistics for Social Change to the memoir Random Thoughts from an Aging Brain. For many years she was the contributing science editor for The Boston Book Review, and has also published a number of technical articles on the cognitive aspects of learning mathematics. This is her first, but probably not her last, venture into the world of fiction.voir moins
