As my life progresses, I figured out I must change my ways. With the help of my parents and grandparents, I feel I cannot lose in a contest against myself. I am now free from alcohol for life—no AA (alcoholic anonymous) meetings were needed, only mind power. Also, I am free from smoking marijuana for life as well. I smoked and drank for basically seven to eight years, doing it the last five years pretty heavily. Thank you, family, for sticking with me!
