The family traveled extensively to various army postings in the world, and he joined the army himself at age seventeen, serving with the infantry, airborne and military police, terminating his service after nine years with an exemplary discharge.
He was married in 1968 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1975, joining a municipal police force in Alberta, where a significant event took place the following year.
Without adhering to any particular religion or realizing exactly what he was seeking, he became a Buddhist by coincidence late in life.voir moins
