He was born and went to public schools in Newark, New Jersey where he witnessed the systematic discrimination against the majority of the population in that city. He visited Cuba in 1996 where he saw how an underdeveloped nation transformed itself to make the needs of the people the top priority. Since 1980 he has lived in Philadelphia, and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union for fourteen years. Currently he continues to work producing parts in the automotive industry.voir moins
