As the first of four children and son of a naval officer, homes changed often. Around his first birthday, his dad was uncomfortable with the current rumors and sent his son and wife from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to New York State. Five months later, the Japanese air force dropped in for an unexpected surprise visit. He has appreciated that foresight for over seventy-five years.
After five years of continuous movement, they settle in Alexandria, Virginia, where the family base would remain for fifty years. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament Grade school, Gonzaga High School, and the US Naval Academy. He never had to move during those important years.
A major portion of his life is presented in this book and will not be repeated in the bio. He served six years as a naval officer, resigning after finding out the hard way engineering was not for him.
He is retired at present but stays busy in a variety of activities. He and his wife, Linda, have been married for fifty-two years, but he is still on probation. They have five adult children and grandchild number 17 is expected to arrive in January. This is his first book and has been written from his memory of growing up. “Young people have no idea of the incredible things they can accomplish in life.” Enjoy.voir moins
