In 1999, she graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Liberal Arts. In 2005, she graduated from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2008, Jane S. Green was the recipient of the Wallace D. Foundation and The Louisiana Leaders Fellows Program Award, which allowed her to an opportunity to graduate from Louisiana State University Shreveport with a second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Jane has been an educator in the state of Louisiana for the past 18+ years, serving in a variety of capacities. Jane S. Green’s innate ability to serve others in a leadership capacity has been acknowledged and documented through other various awards and honors: Cox Communications Mentor Award (2), Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year Award (2), and Iberville Parish District Teacher of the Year Award (3), to name a few. Jane is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Educators. Jane loves to eat, travel, learn, read, write, and teach others about the Goodness of God.voir moins
