After years of working in alcohol and drug rehabilitation as a counselor, he became a drug pusher and later, a drug dealer. But when he lost his family and all his possessions, he became a homeless crack addict. In 1986, with little more than the clothes on his back, he returned to the place of his birth. A few months later, he became a born-again Christian in 1987. In 1995, he was ordained to serve as a pastor of his childhood church. Today, he’s a columnist, writing weekly editorials on life (people, places and things) from his perspective.voir moins
