Marcus Bruce was born in Corvallis, Oregon on March 9, 1956. He was raised in Los Angeles, California until October of 1970, then moved to Boston, MA. After graduation he entered The Museum of Fine Arts. There he studied drawing, oil painting, water color, egg tempra, and acrylic and air brush. Also silk screen and photography He was educated in filmmaking, script writing, story boards, camera composition, special effects, lighting, sound, cell animation, and pixilation.
Marcus took academic course s at Tufts University under an affiliated program with the Museum School.
In 1978 he received the Gordon Parks Fine Arts award. Given to him by the Tufts University Afro American Society.voir moins
