Who is Judy-Lee? She is a woman who has faced adversity head on and come through. She is a woman who has faced adversity head on and come through. Having lost a sister and cousin to breast cancer, she knew the perils of the disease and never considered it to be her path in life. In 2016 that changed and she had to confront the decision of mastectomy or live. The choice seems obvious yet the struggle to reach the decision and live a life as an "unnatural" woman was real. She found healing throughout the excruciating pain of recovery and insomnia through art merging her love for photography and new technology which assisted her in being in the zone while being in pain. She wants to educate and make a difference in bringing awareness to the variety of experiences one may go through as they deal with breast cancer and mastectomy.
She lives in California and is working on the next book in this series as well as a book based on her sister's life as pioneer in aviation in Jamaica and a casualty of breast cancer. Judy-Lee speaks on how to soar to new heights in the face of adversity. Judy-Lee has a BA in Radio Television Film Production from California State University, Northridge.voir moins
