Australian author Judith Bandidt has spent much of her life in country areas of Queensland. Her writing often reflects her rural roots and love of the land and its people. This life experience, together with other landscapes, seascapes and mindscapes encountered in her travels, has provided many of the settings for her books.
Judith's published works include adult and juvenile fiction, research-based non-fiction, poetry and short stories. She thinks deeply about what is going on in the world around her and finds writing a creative and satisfying medium for channelling her thoughts and feelings.
Judith now lives with her husband in Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland. Apart from her passion for writing, her interests include travel, photography, community volunteering, collecting fine china and racing thoroughbred horses.
