She is an Associate Minister at Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta, GA, where she has been a member for more than 17 years and has faithfully served in various leadership roles. Reverend Dunston is married to Carlton Dunston, Jr., and they have two young adult children.
Reverend Dunston is a native of Philadelphia, PA, and graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a B S. Degree in Criminal Justice. In May 2012, she graduated Cum Laude from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) with a Master's in Divinity and was nominated for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.
In 2013, Reverend Dunston and her husband Brother Carlton birthed "Divine Destiny & Purpose Ministries," a global ministry designed to empower people to become unstuck, unparalyzed, unchained, unlocked, and unleashed from the pain of their past, in order to fulfill their life's purpose.
Reverend Dunston is a well-sought-after preacher, mentor, conference host, conference/keynote speaker, and workshop/retreat speaker, among other roles. Reverend Dunston's ministry extends beyond the four walls of her local church. She has ministered to inmates; prepares couples for marriage in her "tell it like it is" premarital education sessions; serves on the Board of Wilfred Stocker Ministries, a ministry designed to meet the needs of people; and has volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, fulfilling her call to lead people to their God-given destiny.
Reverend Dunston and her husband have an anointed prayer CD, "7 Prayers to Heal Your Soul," host a "Live Your Dreams Motivation Moment" on Facebook, a "First Sundays Monthly Prayer Call," and an annual "Live Your Dreams National Virtual Conference." She is a faithful member of the intercessory prayer team of Love Thy Sistahs global women's ministry. Reverend Dunston is a true worshipper and spirit-filled prayer warrior and intercessor and can be found offering comfort, encouragement, and strength through prayer calls and prayer vigils.
