The first volume of "A Reason to Smile!" took 2.5 years to conceptualize and create, and this new book, Volume 2, took only a year and a half. While the first book is a much younger read, volume 2 is a much more intense read in which we get to actually read the voice of the characters, as well as meeting many more.
Javier transitioned from being a comic illustrator to an author as well in 2012 and has since sold over a thousand copies of his first book! More plans are in the work to create a chapter book along with a beginning readers book.voir moins
