She got married in 1987 and moved to Canada, where she still lives today. Laleh started the "A voice from Iran" blog as a platform in 2017. She published "Climbing Over Grit" with Wisehouse publishing/l-Aleph in 2018 and won the "Canada Book Award". Laleh is a Member of Authors Without Borders.
