She is a member of her school’s Teacher Leadership Board, department co-chair, reader for the College Board, and mentor for her district’s Teacher Internship Program. She holds a BA in English Education, an MA in Humanities with concentrations in Linguistics and Philosophy, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Kentucky University.
