She has a particular interest in creating picture books for young children. The Biggest Blessing is her second picture book published by Austin Macauley (Star Bright was her first). Gillian lives in Cape Town where she tutors English and writes her books. She enjoys swimming, hiking, attending her local church and going to the theatre, ballet and opera.
