Expressing myself through writing, ev...voir plusI'm a fairly normal, slightly damaged 50-something doing his best to navigate life in our complex world. I am a father and a husband. I am a son and a brother. Expressing myself through writing, even at this fairly late age, has helped me exorcise some of the baggage of my past and helped me gain a new understanding of myself and those around me. We are all inter-connected and in many ways my story is a reflection of everyone I have shared my journey with. I consider myself a compassionate pragmatist who would prefer to hear the truth as opposed to having someone agree with me because they think it is what I would like to hear. I would like to think the space we get to occupy is dictated by our past actions and whether or not we get to stay there is dependent on the choices we make going forward. Reading has always been a great escape for me and I hope my writing can offer folks out there a brief respite from whatever troubles them. All the best to all of you out there!voir moins
