Her name is Sharon and was a big help in his writing of this, his very first attempt at writing. She read and reread the story as it was unfolding and made several valuable, important, contributions to the story. He worked for many years as a welder in construction helping to erect power plants and feed mills and grain elevators in Connecticut and Arkansas. Worked for Electric Boat out of Connecticut welding on submarines for the Navy. Where he broke his back in 1973 and had a spinal fusion of the 4th,5th and #1 sacral discs. He also operated a back hoe and a 10 ton crane called a cherry picker in the construction field. After retiring from the construction field, and after several hernia operations from lifting steel beams and such, he worked for 10 years for the Brunswick Recreation Centers and became an assistant manager with them. He retired in 1997 due to having triple bypass surgery and crushing his heel by falling off a ladder. He’s no spring chicken and has led a pretty hard life. Having gone under the knife nine times for different operations. He and his wife have raised three wonderful children, 2 boys and a girl, who are all married and raising families of their own now. He has three grandsons and one granddaughter.voir moins
