This was the last year that was allowed. She went on to get her Bachelor's Degree and her Masters while raising her family and teaching. She taught all grades K-8 at some time during her career. She also conducted workshops on teaching techniques and ideas to other teachers. She has been called a master teacher both in the classroom, and as she taught other teachers by her students, parents, co-teachers and administrators. Her ideas have been incorporated into many classrooms. Her dedication is inspiring.
Her love and commitment to children is so apparent in her writing of this story. She also has carefully researched the methods she has advocated over her long commitment to education. Through this book, she hopes to inspire others to commit to dedication to children and to improving education in every community.
