da JOY a LUV- was my first foray into screenwriting. Da Joy is basically Hip Hop- West Side Story. I received several good responses when I entered it in the Project Greenlight Screenplay contest. A few of my fellow screenwriters pointed out a small flaw in my writing style which was a blessing and allowed me to make the story even better.
