After graduating from Rhodes University with a B.A degree in English and Classics, he emigrated to the United Kingdom. He joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 1984 and went on to study at Kensington Temple and then Liberty Bible Training centre under Pastors Rod and Julie Anderson. He was elected assistant pastor at the Word Church, a satellite church of Kensington Temple, where he and Helen served for some years before going on to help plant other churches. They now live in New Zealand. John leads a prayer group, writes books, blogs and likes hill walking, travelling, golfing and "hanging out with Holy Ghost people". He believes personal and national Revival starts with those who pray, obey and return to the God of the Bible.voir moins
