Melinda C. Payne was born in Albany, New York and her parents moved to Hollywood, Florida when her mother simply could not deal with the effect the winters had on her joints. Melinda thrived after they moved going on to study Psychology in college. After completing her Masters, she threw herself into her work. Everything came to a screeching halt when she had a mild heart attack. She was forced to slow things down and was encouraged to find a hobby. That is why she started to write. She enjoyed creating the characters and weaving complex plots. She wants the reader to be fully entertained and to only be able to figure out a bit of what is to come. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children. She is now a full time writer.voir moins
