I became curious about how the universe works at a young age. Ever since I can remember I have wondered how it is that I am alive and living in the world I see and experience around me. This passion has led me to study, research and eventually write this book.
I have attended several colleges and universities. I am a graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. My engineering career consists of working as a process/research engineer for Ralston Purina and Ralcorp in St. Louis and for General Mills in Minneapolis. I am a retired Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.
I have learned that continual questioning and intimate knowledge is required in order to understand complicated things. My expertise is in designing things, systems of things and the operation of systems. Much of my working career has been focused on understanding and solving the problems in industrial processes. This experience coupled with my passion to accumulate scientific knowledge has helped me immensely in understanding the workings of the biggest of all physical processes, which is the whole universe.
I love to travel and experience the world. My engineering career has required extensive travel, and before and after retirement my wife and I have taken many vacations throughout the United States and in foreign countries.
I am very fortunate to have had a great career and also fulfilled my goal of uncovering the secrets of the universe while having a wonderful family life at the same time. My wife and I have raised six children and enjoy spending much time with many grandchildren.
I live in Edwardsville, Illinois with my wife Mae and our dog Allie.voir moins
