Ese mismo año ganó la Mención Honorífica en el Concurso Inter-universitario Roberto Jaén y Jaén con su cuento El fantasma de la Cava del Marqués.En 2004, se graduó de Licenciada en Mercadotecnia, con el tercer puesto de honor, en La Universidad Santa María la Antigua (USMA), sede de David.LAURA NIETO BRUÑA was born in David, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama, in 1981.In 1999, Laura completed her first children’s novel Aldo, el joven rey.
