Frances Sydnor Tehie (1926-2003) was born in Jefferson City, TN, and attended Carson-Newman College, where her father was an English professor. Frances wrote poetry from an early age, and won over 65 awards in national poetry contests. Frances was a high-school and college English teacher, and could quote the works of Shakespeare and Robert Frost by heart. She also was a highly talented pianist and taught piano lessons privately. Since her death, her daughter and a close family friend have been publishing Frances's poetry. This is the seventh volume of poetry by Frances Sydnor Tehie.voir moins
