Her careers included that of a merchant, funeral director and licensed interior decorator. Upon retirement, she became the first volunteer resident director of the Fohs Hall Community Arts Foundation. She is an active member in her western Kentucky community and her church, the Marion United Methodist Church. She published her first cookbook, "From Pilot Knob to Main Street: A Collection of Recipes and Stories from Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow," in 2005.voir moins
