Physics was a difficult subject for many so he added some levity to his classes by telling these stories at the end of class every Friday. He feels that the creative use of humor in the classroom is essential for a well rounded education.
GENE YOUNGMANN has been painting transparent watercolors since 1981 along the Front Range Mountains west of Denver. His subjects of choice are Colorado landscapes, vintage automobiles and aging architecture. He is a retired high school art teacher, having taught drawing for twenty-five years at Golden High School in Golden, CO. During sometimes tedious faculty meetings he perfected his ability to do pencil sketches of those around him.
