Many of the books I read to deal with day to day issues, were too abstract. I needed and wanted to get a hold of the Jesus of the bible to rid my life of the strongholds and bondages caused by generations of witchcraft which left me and my family stagnated. I was concerned because I saw too many people both inside and outside of the church that remained in the same cycle of sin with no hope of change. Jesus said my people perish for a lack of knowledge. So I searched scriptures and read books by God’s generals and other experts pertaining to the issues that I had in my life which I felt would benefit others also. Surprisingly, I found a wealth of information both in my life and those I had contacts with, which are used in the book as examples.
Many of the stories given are real but the names were changed to protect the innocent and the guilty. The solutions mentioned really work and will produce evident changes in ones life. As a medical/mental health professional, who had traveled extensively and volunteered with US veterans and migrant farm workers, it is heart wrenching to see and hear the trials they go through. However, I always let them know that help and hope is available. I was also a part of the Intercessory Team and Ministry for the Deaf at my previous church in NYC.
