The Brenets regional railway

he line starts at the CFF station of Le Locle station (alt. 946m), the current terminus for the regional trains of the Transports Publics Neuchâtelois network (TransN) serving Neuchâtel. This station is also served by the French railcars that connect La Chaux-deFonds to Morteau and Besangon. After leaving the station, the Brenets railway serves Chalet halt (km post 0.60) then enters the 720m long Petit-Monts tunnel.
