The Hôtel du Louvre has reopened its doors with a brand new Brasserie Bocuse set in a beautiful decor that mixes vintage bistro and chic brasserie, with royal blue tables and red leather banquettes. Its most impressive feature, the stunning terrace overlooking the Palais Royal square can be enjoyed in (almost) any season, nestled beneath the arches and framed by half-height bay windows. Home to the very first Brasserie Bocuse in Paris, the Hôtel du Louvre gives food lovers the opportunity to delight in some of the specialties of Lyon, inspired by “Monsieur Paul” and beautifully executed by chef Denis Bellon. We highly recommend composing your meal around the establishment’s signature dishes. Excellent warm sausage with pistachios in brioche and a small salad (€14), a great classic of Lyonnaise cuisine accompanied by a remarkable Port wine sauce, or traditional French onion soup if the weather is chilly, followed by a lovely pike quenelle with Nantua sauce (€31) or the famous “Miéral” Bresse chicken with cream and mushrooms (€32), another iconic dish from the City of the Gones.
