Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Maggie moved to attend the University of Waterloo, where she completed a joint honours in Political Science and English Literature, but acquired her greatest lessons from two years as full-time Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper. From there, deeply influenced by Picasso’s assertion that “Art is the lie that helps us realize truth,” Maggie began exploring other narrative forms and has since seen her first play read at the 2010 Magnetic North Theatre Festival, as well as on-going writing opportunities emerge in film. Though fiction remains her form of choice, Maggie intends to let all future stories take the shape they most call out for — wherever this process might lead.voir moins
