Brotherhood of the Gods is his first novel. His second novel, A Darker Shade of Freedom, is expected to be completed by the end of 2002. It also treats the relationship between racism, violence, and religion (specifically Christianity and Islam), in American society. A graduate of Amherst College and Georgetown University Law Center, Mr. Abdal-Haqq, a Newark, New Jersey native, works as a telecommunications lawyer in Washington, DC, where he also lives with his wife and family.voir moins
